Ford from 1933, built by Carlsen in Torpen. The bus was used for trips to Europe, as  Rome-Sorento in 17 days. In 1956 the bus was still used, but now as mobile library in Roskilde

A Triangle on tour to Germany / Austria.

A tour to Venice. 2 buses on a 12-day trip. It was not easy to drive over the Alps without the engine cooked, 

 

Before the Second World War it was fashionable  to take a picnic on Sundays. Many experience for the first time to drive a motorized vehicle with Hans Eriksen and HELSINGØR TURISTTRAFIK.​

HELSINGØR TURISTTRAFIK worked together with the prestigious Swedish travel agency Brodin Touring.Started from the train station in Helsingør to different places in Europe

​1940-1945

During the war it was not possible with trips out in Europe, since  thhe borders was closed. Gasoline was rationed and istead was "2-horse-engine" used

​1947

A top modern bus from Chevrolet with door in the back end of the bus. The bus also had a toilet. But guests never used  the toilet, so replaced with seats.

2 new buses - one a Triangel built in Odense as other buses  from Triangel. The other one a Henchel built in Ringsted.

The driver is Leo Eriksen, brother of Hans Eriksen

1957-1960

Next generation in HELSINGØR TURISTTRAFIK began when both sons John and Flemming started in the bus company.

John as a driver and mechanic and Flemming at the office and as tour guide.

HELSINGØR TURISTTRAFIK take  over from LB  Ferries route from the Bus Company Jens Nielsen - and probably Denmark  shortest route - about 1½ km. We had many good years on that route until Scanlines and DSB agreed to cooperate. Together with the route we also got our Garage Complex, where we still have our office, 

​1974

Now there came focus on transportation of disabled.  Among our customers at that time was DaycareCenter Hamlet and Poppelgården

​1978

HELSINGØR TURISTTRAFIK started in 1927, but first in 1928 Hans Eriksen got his linces (permission) to start a company.

By th 50th anniversary in 1978 the 2 next generations was together - from the left

Thonny, Flemming, Jesper and John

​1982-1985

Lates generation started in the company. Sons  of Flemming and John. First came Thonny and in 1985 started Jesper as well. Both started as drivers but after some years Thonny toke care of the office while Jesper was the mechanic.

​1990

A Limosinebus from Chevrolet. Used to transfer between Airport, hotels and  companies in the area who got VIP visit.

It was stolen from the garage in 1994 and has never been seen since

​1999

25 years with Handicaptransport. We had got big buses with lift, so people in wheelchairs  also could  get on tours to Europe.

​1997

HELSINGØR TURISTTRAFIK got the fiirst doble-decker bus. A Setra 228 for 70 persons. The bus was bought used.

​2004

Brand new double-decker bus with seats for 86. The largest bus in Denmark. 

It was a proud Manager Jesper Eriksen who showed the bus.
